This diplomatic facility was commissioned directly by the U.S. Department of State. The new compound of 6,000 sqm consists of a Consular Section, office spaces, a library, an “American Center” and designated areas for parking and gate buildings.

The building is designed in accordance with rigorous US Government standards, including Blast, Nuclear and Bio-Chem durability design. The firm served as head of the A&E team with overall management and budgetary responsibilities.

The design is related to all aspects of security and crowd control, with an aesthetic based on the contrast between the traditional Jerusalem stone architecture, so typical to the area, with materials such as steel and glass, which are used in the wall at the main atrium and in other features in the space.
