The Purple Line stretches from West Jerusalem from the Hadassah Ein-Kerem campus to the Talpiot neighborhood located in East Jerusalem. The length of the entire line is about 15 km, 10 km of which overlaps with other lines.

The project takes into consideration accessibility measures around the stations within the design, such as: elevators, sloped elevators, and foot bridges.
